These Artificial Intelligence (AI) Drake songs are really grating on me. It's absolutely crazy that people think this is good music, or "fire", or whatever word they want to use to describe it.
If you're stuck in a bubble and unaware, social media has seen a rise in AI-generated music. People on the internet are using the voices of prominent artists like Drake, The Weeknd, and Kanye West to create "music" they know would sound terrible in their own voice.
I hate it.
I don't hate it because it's not an innovative thing to do. I hate it because the music these people are making sucks, but they're saying it sounds good. This just irritates me because it's not good! All it does is make it clear that using AI will prevent artists from being true artists, and that not everyone should be an artist.
Creativity
AI-generated music will ultimately reduce creativity in the music industry. While AI may be able to create music that is technically proficient, it lacks the emotional depth and human touch that makes music truly great. True creativity comes from the heart and soul of a musician, not from a computer program. As AI-generated music becomes more prevalent, there is a risk that it will stifle the creativity of human musicians, who may feel that they cannot compete with the speed and efficiency of AI. This could lead to a homogenization of music, where all songs sound the same and lack the unique voice and perspective of individual artists. Ultimately, AI-generated music may be technically impressive, but it will never replace the creativity and passion of human musicians.
The above paragraph was written by AI in its best us case, for being a writing assistant.
Drake has the best voice in Hip Hop
We have not seen many Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole, or 2Pac, or any other superstar caliber artists who’s voice is being used for the AI music. Only drake. I was wondering, why. Why are all these “Fire” AI-generated songs using Drake vocals. Drake type beats. All Drake.
This makes it clear to me that Drake has one of the most palatable voices in music and everyone knows it, but won’t admit it.
For being one of the most hated artists on social media, he remains the most liked behind closed doors.
It’s Scary
The use of AI is becoming more and more prevalent in various fields. It is now possible to generate AI images, videos, PowerPoint slides, and more. These tools are used to enhance work and make it easier to create visually appealing content. However, the use of AI to create fake music is a scary prospect.
It is one thing to use AI to assist in the creative process, but it is another thing entirely to use someone's voice to the point where you have their cadence correct.
This raises ethical questions about the use of AI in music and the extent to which it can be used to replace human creativity. While AI-generated music may be technically proficient, it lacks the emotional depth and human touch that makes music truly great.
Music is a subjective art form, and AI-generated music will never be able to replicate the creativity and passion of human musicians.
It can never replace Drake.
